Berlin is a lively metropolis in Germany. The city of Berlin is built around the River Spree. Berlin is Germany's capital city and has undergone enormous changes in the past 100 years. Berlin is now a thriving and exciting city. It welcomes both tourist and business visitors alike. Berlin has undergone the biggest construction project in Europe since the end of World War II. There are a few tourist information offices situated in the city centre of Berlin and these provide up-to-date information about Berlin and its tourist attractions, museums, events, festivals and public transport.

With much to do and see, the city of Berlin has become a popular destination for visitors and there is a good selection of clean hotels, which range in price from budget to five star. Luxury hotels are widespread throughout the city and there are plenty of hotels offering good budget accommodation July and August are great months to visit as there are various events and open-air-activities. When the Berlin Wall was destroyed is 1989 this was an enormous turning point for the city. It was previously divided for over 28 years. East and West Berlin are now unified, although there are still signs of a division in these area. There are also numerous art galleries and museums in Berlin, where tourists can view sculptures, paintings and objects from Egypt. In recent years tourism has fast become big business. Berlin has a great future ahead of it.
